Oooooh.... It's Good to Write :)

Dear Readers,
I've decided to write down this scene idea down for you guys 'cause it's actually been lounging around in my brain waiting to be 'unleashed' onto the computer :)

Sarah sighed, now that her rowdy children were being taken good care of she could relax a bit. She initially plopped down on the rarely used sofa, it wasn't worn down because she and the boys were always so busy they pretty much never rested until bedtime; but, she couldn't get comfortable today. Oddly enough, her gaze was drawn to the smooth mac book on the table. She hadn't written anything for pleasure since she had started college, ten years ago. Now, at 31, she had a hardworking husband, three lovely (but loud) boys and two enormous cats. Writing for pleasure had seeped out of her life more and more through the years and as she approached the smooth computer, opened a new Microsoft Document, and sat down in the leather swivel that sat beneath the small table; she felt like she was home. She stared at the screen, on which was depicted the blank page of a fresh sheet. She poised her motherhood-worn fingers inches from the sleek white keyboard and as her fingers descended on the beloved keys, she wrote, and wrote as if she'd never been away from the letters for more than two days. Her fingers danced over the keys making that satisfying clicking music as her thoughts flowed from her fingers and into the document. She composed a symphony of feeling as she told the story of some mystery mother, somewhere in a time that she had made up on the spot. The mother went from hauling groceries in through the door at the very beginning to rushing into a hospital ward to look after her dying mother twenty pages later. Sarah looked briefly up at the computer's clock and was shocked to see it was only 7:39, only a half hour after she'd first sat down. She wasn't as rusty as she'd supposed she would be. Leaning back, she looked over her work, proofread, and then tucked the file away, smiling...

Hope y'all enjoyed :)
